Welcome To Reptile Rescue Den

Reptile Rescue Den are a family run rescue and are based in Bolton, Lancashire, in the North West of
England. We provide support  throughout the whole of the UK where we can. We have over 28 years
experience dealing with snakes, lizards, tortoise, turtles, amphibians and arachnids. We provide 24
hour care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

Our aim is to rescue sick or unwanted reptiles and re-home reptiles to caring
responsible homes or offer sanctuary here should they be unfit for re-homing. We offer
Educational Visits to schools and other groups as part of their curriculum or for
summer fairs etc. Just contact us for more details. We also offer free friendly advice if
you want to own a reptile or if you can no longer care for one. We can accommodate
(regardless of size) snakes, lizards, amphibians, arachnids, inverts and
tortoises. We are NOT a shop and do NOT operate through a shop!

We do not breed reptiles and do not have a problem with anyone else breeding from
rescues, unless it is stated beforehand due to health issues. We are against wild caught imports (WC),
so captive breeding within the UK by animal lovers is an advantage in some circumstances.

Please note we can offer a life long home here for tortoises, we will
NOT place them up for re-homing else where, unless there is a particular problem with housing an
individual. We follow your wishes for your beloved tortoises and are prepared to stay in contact and keep
you updated on their progress.

Your support is vital to our work. Without your support we couldn't continue rescuing
sick or unwanted reptiles and other exotics!

Why not have a look at some of our
enclosures!

Please note we do NOT permit viewing by the public unless privately arranged.
